dc.description.abstract | The goal of this paper was to evaluate the initial growth of the forest species: andiroba (Carapa guianensis -
34 Aubl.), Cumarú (Dipteryx odorata - Aubl.) and mogno africano (Khaya ivorensis - A Chev. ) and mixed (M) in
35 the city of Belterra. Growth was watched from December 2016 to December 2017 to determine collet diameter
36 (D), and height (H), for chlorophyll and leaf area two collections were made in two seasonal periods. The
37 experimental design was the completely randomized with 2 treatments, 15 repetitions of mixed planting and 35
38 pure planting. Andiroba presented the highest increase in pure planting from the fifteenth to the eighteenth
39 month of age. As for D for African mahogany there was no significant difference in any of the months between
40 the means of pure planting and mixed planting (p <0.05), however, for cumarú there was a huge difference from
41 the first month (p <0) , 05) thus continuing until the age of 21 months. The height of the andiroba was greater in
42 te pure planting in the first three months, from the fourteenth month of age the increment became greater in
43 mixed planting. There was a significant difference (p <0.05) for all the African mahogany between the pure and
44 mixed plantations (p <0.05) only at 13, 15, 20 and 21 months of age. the months. The highest values for
45 chlorophyll a were obtained in the rainy season for all species in the two plantations with the exception of
46 mahogany in mixed planting. Chlorophyll b was higher in the rainy season in pure planting for Andiroba and
47 Cumaru, and in mixed planting only for Andiroba, in the dry period it was higher in pure and mixed plantation
48 for mahogany and in mixed for cumaru. The total chlorophyll was higher in the dry period in mixed planting for
49 andiroba and mahogany and in the rainy season in pure planting for the three species. For the leaf area the
50 highest averages were recorded in rainy season for all species. Andiroba showed higher diameter growth in pure
51 planting and higher height in mixed planting. The cumaru showed greater development in diameter in pure
52 planting, and greater height in mixed planting. The development in diameter of the African mahogany did not
53 differ among the plantations, but the growth was greater in mixed planting during four months. | pt_BR |

A andiroba apresentou
26 maior crescimento em diâmetro em plantio puro e maior altura em plantio misto. O cumaru mostrou maior
| pt_BR |
