The present work describes the application of activities that addressed the
themes Day and Night and Seasons of the year in a class of child education
and, from the difficulties encountered. Propose a didactic support material to the
teacher to approach the themes with the children. It has as theoretical reference
the socio-historical theory of Vygotsky for the development of the child and
authors that deal with the teaching of Science and Astronomy for children. The
methodology is qualitative and the description of the activities is done based on
the data collected in the activities developed with the children. This is a work
that can contribute to teachers who need to explore these issues of Science/
Physics with children and difficulty accessing materials that guide them as to
the basic concepts involved in the phenomena and suggestions of
methodological proposals to organize activities, in the perspective of early child
education.
