This paper is focused on a Portuguese Language Teaching based on a methodological proposal. It is inserted of the study of reading and textual production, approaching a reflection about the methodology of teaching and learning Portuguese Language, as a pedagogical practice that involved students of a 1st grade from “Escola Estadual de Ensino Médio Maria das Graças Escócio Cerqueira (a pubic high school), located in the municipality of Itaituba, state of Pará. Furthermore, it is reported a learning experience and the mplications that are part of a didactic approach applied in educational practice, trying to understand factors that favored or some difficulties the development of significant learning of students, reflecting about
the usage of text presence in the classroom, the formation of concepts and attitudes that were observed during the workshops. In the context, it was opted for a qualitative character interpretative study, using the intervention and the observation method of the participation. To emphasize the conception of Portuguese Language Teaching it is endorsed especially in studies of Geraldi (1996, 2010, 2012, 2013), Britto (1997, 2004), Koch (2011; 2014) and Marcuschi (2008, 2010; 2012). And the concepts of dialogical activity had the contributions of Bakhtin (1999, 1996), Dolz and Schneuwly (2004). In summary, this paper try to clarify the implications of Language Portuguese of the process of teaching-learning of a methodology comes the
perspective of a pedagogical practice which is focused on reading and textual production, identifying factors that have been successful, or that could be improved and that as well as some difficulties faced during the implementation of the proposal.
