In view of the importance of the literature in Portuguese language classes, this dissertation aimed to present and develop a teaching proposal consist of a sequence of intervention activities that assist in the formation of readers in this perspective of language , from a work with the amazon narrative, through practices reading textual production written and analysis literary of elementary school . The point of theoretical view, the importance of this proposal is to receive work with literature from a regional perspective. In order to deconstruction paradigms and prejudices with the local culture expressed through the social inequalities and educational historically built. From the social point of view, this dissertation allowed that the work with Brazilian literature of amazon expression, you can meet the real needs of Elementary School students. This way the work was based on a methodology that materialized initially in the bibliographical research, late was prepared and applied the proposed teaching whose the results were considered satisfactory, the way that students acquired new knowledge and realized as part of the process . So, this proposal is constituted as didactic pedagogical product that can be flexible considering the reality of each school environment. However we hope contribute to the process of elementary school students, favoring not only the construction of their reading formation, but the gradual evolution of their literary consciousness.
