This study deals with Health Education in the Unified Health System (SUS) and aims to analyze how the teaching management was developed in the Multiprofessional Health Residency Program in Comprehensive Care in Orthopedics and Traumatology by the Regional Hospital of Baixo Amazonas (HRBA) and By the University of the State of Pará (UEPA) in Santarém, to consolidate a culture of Teaching Hospital (HE) in the Amazon region. The research is a qualitative (OLIVEIRA, 2016), descriptive, case-study (MINAYO, 2014), microethnographic clipping (ARNAL; RINCÓN; LATORRE, 1992) and developed through a bibliographic, documentary and field study. The target audience is composed of health professionals directly involved in the training process of this Multiprofessional Residence, comprising the teaching managers (HRBA/UEPA), the preceptors, the teachers, the tutors, the residents as subjects co-participants of the teaching process and Learning, as well as their graduates (2013/2014), totalizing a sample of 95 participants. Participant observation, interviews and questionnaires were used as instruments of data collection (OLIVEIRA, 2016). The analysis of the data was organized through content analysis (BARDIN, 2011), assuming an interpretative bias based on the triangulation of methods (MINAYO et al, 2005). The discussion was constituted in the theoretical light of Vázquez (1977), Freire (1996), Gadotti (2004), Paro (2010), Moreno (2015), among others, in dialogue with the official documents and normative legal framework of the area. The final results demonstrate that the Management of Teaching through the Multiprofessional Residency in health has contributed to the improvement of teaching in service, as well as to the consolidation of HE culture in the Amazon region. Regarding the subsidies of this Residence for HE culture, 62% of residents say in part, however 68% of graduates consider that yes. However, 100% of the tutors, 100% of the teachers and 95% of the Preceptors corroborate that this continued formation has cooperated for the solidification of this culture in the region. In the same way, the education managers confirm that this residence has been fundamental for the construction of the teaching in service, since it converges to the formation of professionals committed to the well-being of the user, improving the quality of the assistance spent in the western region of the Thus, as a conclusion of the study, it can be affirmed that teaching management has fostered reflections on the formation of this training, in the process of consolidating the HE culture in the Amazon, providing health professionals with a differentiated experience in which There is a union of academic assistance and training, with proposals for the improvement of continuing education with a view to the qualification of health professionals trained to work in the SUS network. Based on the interinstitutional partnership between the Proponent Institution and the Executora, and an educational base based on the democratic management of the teaching - learning process, legitimized by the participation of all those involved in the training process, it is affirmed that Education in Health is essential for The construction of an SUS for all and with a humanized and quality care.
