The aim of this work was to examine whether students PARFOR of Óbidos UFOPA
they are doing Integrated Degree in Mathematics and Physics are being formed for
the area of their professional activities. This work is necessary because even doing a
degree course there are teachers who do not work with math and it seemed to us an
inadequate situation for the training of these teachers. For this, we rely on theoretical
as Romanovschi, Cury, Eraut, Fullam, Garcia, Huberman and others. To collect data
did field research as a tool using the semi-structured questionnaire with teachers
studying Integrated Degree Course in UFOPA. In addition to having attended the
meetings of the State Forum to Support Teacher Training for Basic Education of the
State of Pará to better understand all this systematic program. What we conclude is
that the teacher training through PARFOR track a path to the exercise of good
teaching, but still need to overcome some obstacles themselves who choose the
profession of being a teacher.
