Population growth and increasing dependence on human beings to consume electricity
have caused electricity use to rise in recent times, making it a problematic issue in both
environmental and financial issues. With this methods are being used to soften this situation,
such as Energy Efficiency that aims at the rational consumption of energy and also seeks
through the bioclimatic architecture better thermal comfort for users. The work is a study in
block 03 of the Tapajós Campus, a building of the Institute of Engineering and Geosciences IEG of the Federal University of the West of Pará - UFOPA in Santarém, based on the
techniques proposed in Lamberts literature, bioclimatic architecture and comfort measuring and
analyzing the temperatures and humidity at specific points of each building environment and
estimating the electric consumption of the same. In conclusion, it was noticed the need to create
proposals for improvement of the building studied in this work, taking advantage of the light
and ventilation of the external environment so that it reduces energy consumption and
consequently reduce costs, worrying that users of the environments are always feeling in
constant thermal comfort.
