In Santarém, the third largest city in the state of Pará, Brazil, and the largest city in the Low Amazon region, there is an expansion of the demand for coffee outside home, resulting in growth in the number of coffee shops. This type of commercial warehouse presents the potential for marketing of milk and dairy products, since they are raw materials in the elaboration of various beverages marketed in this type of warehouse. Thus, the objective of this assignment was to study the coffee shops located in the city of Santarém, identifying the forms of commercialization of milk and its derivatives, as well as the acquisition of milk and dairy products. To survey these data, this study was divided into three phases: questionnaire elaboration and validation, application of the validated questionnaire, tabulation and data analysis. The questionnaires were applied in coffee shops located in the main circulation routes of the city of Santarém. It can be observed that these coffee shops commercialize several dairy products, especially whipped cream, and that these products are purchased in retail and wholesale stores.
