This work aims to study the Bolsa Família Program in the trajectory of Elementary School II students, at Escola Esperança, from 2011 to 2014. The main question of the study is the following question: What is the influence of the Bolsa Família Program? in the school trajectory of elementary school students, beneficiaries of the Program, belonging to the Esperança State School, in Santarém, from 2011 to 2014? Considering this questioning, the research aims to analyze the effects of PBF on the school trajectory of beneficiaries attending Elementary School II, at Escola Esperança. Methodologically, the research is characterized in a Case Study and the approach used was quantitative and qualitative. A documentary survey was carried out on the Bolsa Família Program and other legislation pertinent to the theme, as well as at the secretariat of the researched school, such as the survey of the notes map. Semi-structured interviews were also carried out with the 1st person responsible for the implementation of the SEASTER PBF, with the 1st and current SEMED PBF coordinator in Santarém and with the direction of the researched school. From the analysis of the data, it was possible to verify that, of the 13 students benefiting from the program, in the period from 2011 to 2014, only 2 managed to remain until the conclusion of elementary school, with dropout being one of the main causes of student exclusion. The family-school partnership has been trivial for the monitoring of the student, the effects of the PBF on the beneficiaries' lives also contribute insufficiently to the relief of material needs, since the scarcity of resources is one of the reasons that leads to the lack and the inconclusion of schooling. We conclude that the conditionalities and counterpart of the PBF contribute to the permanence in the school, but they are not enough for the student to remain in school activity until the conclusion.
