The study aims to analyze the actions taken by school management in the context of the pandemic - introduced by the advance of Covid-19 in the world - within the scope of the implementation of remote teaching. The empirical research was carried out in a municipal public school, located in Santarém, western region of the State of Pará. Field research was carried out, contemplating observations of management practices, application of a semi-structured questionnaire and theoretical-documentary survey of the theme. From the results obtained, it is inferred that the pandemic context has introduced a series of challenges in management, especially with regard to the transposition of face-to-face educational processes to remote teaching, envisioning: difficulties in the usability of technological resources, lack of specific training, conflicts with parents and the school community, among others. However, despite the problems experienced, it was also consolidated as a context of learning and overcoming for the educational community.
