Meio ambiente e educação socioambiental: a concepção de educadores nas escolas públicas em Santarém Pará
Resumen
The current research has as a main target to Analyze the Environment Conception and the
Educator’s Socio environmental Education and its Reflexes on the Pedagogic Practices
regarding the Environmental Education developed at the Public School of the City of Santarém
– Pará. The methodological approach is constituted of qualitative and quantitative character,
comprehended as a study of case, and it presents, as data collecting tool, the semi open interview
and the closed questionnaire with teachers, directors and specialists at Education from two
Public Schools of Santarém – Pará, named in this research as “school A” and “school B”,
considering the following categories of analysis: 1- Knowledge concerning the Socio
environmental Education; 2 – School Contribution in the Socio environmental Education . It is
used the program Google forms for data tabulation and plotting, which is a tool of collect and
statistical analysis. The first activities were developed through distinct stages, which are:
definition of research locus; visit at schools to be aware of the school reality and the goals
explanation; and application of pre-test to check the questionnaire usability and understanding
alongside of the educators to apply them next. From the study of theoretical conceptions about
the Environment and Environmental Education, as well as the Pedagogic Political Project, the
educational legislations and, in front of the empirical research, the results show the conception,
by the educators, of the socio environmental education as a mechanism of comprehension of
the natural life associated to the social one, as a way to preserve the environment for the future
and the actual generations. However, in the pedagogic act, it is still conceived as a dissociated
theme from further areas of knowledge, demonstrating not to understand it nor applying it in
transversality. Connecting to these analyses, it is evaluated that, along general lines, the
teaching institutions develop disconnected and deficit socio environmental pedagogic practices
from the process of integral human formation. Result that expresses the necessity of better
pedagogic organization in which the thematic concerning plans and projects of interdisciplinary
way must be inserted, as well as the continuing education for professionals.
