This work, entitled "Restorative justice and socio-environmental conflicts involving quilombolas communities of Santarém: a case study in the quilombos of Murumuru and Murumurutuba", purposes to investigate the conditions, possibilities and achievements of consensual interventions based on conceptions and procedures of restorative justice in scenarios of ethnic-racial conflict in the Brazilian Amazon, particularly in broad contexts of Quilombola communities in western Pará. The research adopted a qualitative and interdisciplinary approach, presenting a bibliographic-documentary survey stage and an intervention stage, the latter using the methodology of peacemaking circles, one of the most used methodological strategy in Brazil and other countries to carry out of restorative practices. After the intervention stage, we proceeded to a hermeneutic of the studied cases, followed by the writing of the dissertative text, which also undertook, in the act of writing, some interpretations around the restorative experiences described. The intervention-research was carried out with two quilombolas communities in the municipality of Santarém, the Murumuru and Murumurutuba communities, located in the santareno plateau region, on the shores of Maicá lake, historically known as an area of presence of black communities. currently recognized as quilombolas. The present project provides a scientific and, at the same time, social contribution to establish structures specifically designed to work conflicts that involve community issues that may be administered without the recurrence to the judicialization, as is often the case in conflicts involving communities. We defend that restorative principles and practices can favor the opening of locutions of locution in community spaces by seeking to include all those interested in a given dispute, whether or not as a crime or an infraction, through dialogic, inclusive and parity processes, by stimulating the development of respect for otherness, mutual recognition and a sense of responsibility (individual and collective), democratizing decision-making processes in the face of situations of conflict experienced within the quilombola community, whether of an endogenous or exogenous origin
