Merenda escolar oferecida às crianças em uma escola da Região Amazônica

Abstract

The present research had as objective the evaluation of the school lunch offered to the students of the Municipal School of Fundamental Education Bom Jesus, specifically, highlighting the importance of this food supplement so that the students can be well physically at the moment of the classes and from there, to assimilate in a clear and critical way the knowledge that they are instigated to produce. A research was carried out on school meals offered to the students of Bom Jesus School, where food, components and origins were investigated. The data were analyzed and organized into tables. The performance of the study was performed, due to the needs of we understand how the school lunch, can interfere in the cognitive development of the riverside children, since most of the time and the only meal of them during the day, due to the economic question of the families that are in the middle class, where many of the times do not have what to eat at home, only rely on school meals.However, when we studied the subject, in practice we saw that we need to be part of the choice of what our students will ingest, since many products that are part of the menu come from other regions and our students are unaware and therefore do not consume them. Thus, it became clear the need to seek new outlets to propose a quality and natural school lunch that our students are accustomed to consume and thereby improve the process of teaching learning in the Água Fria community.
