A literatura no ensino fundamental e a Base Nacional Comum Curricular
Resumo
The dissertation Literature in Elementary Education and the National Common Curricular Base, linked to the Professional Master's Program in Letters (PROFLETRAS), has the general objective of verifying how the teaching of literature contributes to the teaching of the Portuguese Language and comprehensive education of the student in the contemporary conception of teaching literature in Elementary Education in Brazilian education. This work also intends to identify and analyze the way literature is proposed in the National Common Curricular Base (BNCC) and examine its implications for teaching in Elementary Education. The methodological approach used is the bibliographical one and this project is also a documentary study, specifically analyzing the approach of literature aimed at children and young people, considering the teaching-learning process of literary reading. Thus, it reflects on the conceptions of literature in the final years of Elementary Education at BNCC, an official document of paramount importance for Basic Education. Analyzing its conception of teaching literature focused on the Final Years of Elementary Education and considering recent studies on the teaching of literature and the literary formation of the reader, it appears that literature in this document is not considered as an aesthetic object worthy of being appreciated with greater depth of analysis, reflection and interpretation, but only as a textual genre without sufficient relevance in the teaching of the Portuguese Language.
