Literatura brasileira de expressão amazônica: estratégias de leitura para o ensino fundamental anos finais
Abstract
Brazilian Literature of Amazonian Expression manifests different shades of the
culture of the Amazonian people. In this way, this research aimed to provide a pedagogy of
this Literature as a means of enabling the formation of proficient readers in Elementary
School in the Final Years. To this end, we used an interventional project in which we carried
out reading strategies based on foundations in Solé (1998), Kleiman (1993) and Cosson
(2006). We understand that Brazilian Literature of Amazonian Expression can support the
training of beginning readers with a view to literary education that takes into account the
cultural experiences of students.
The research was carried out in the city of Uarini – Amazonas, at the Edson Melo
State School. We use a qualitative and participatory approach. In turn, we opted for the
narrative literary genre: short story subgenre, to exemplify Brazilian Literature of
Amazonian Expression in the intervention project. The intervention project was applied in
an 8th year class of Elementary School Final Years to verify the students' reception in
relation to Brazilian Literature of Amazonian Expression and questionnaires were applied
to Portuguese language teachers and students. As a theoretical basis for reflections on
Literature, we rely mainly on Britto (2005),
Koch (2006), Colomer (2003), Cândido (1987), Souza (1977), among other
authors; As for the national guiding principles, from the Chamber of Basic
Education/MEC, we used the National Curricular Parameters (1998) and the National
Common Curricular Base for Elementary Education (2018). With the scope of touching
the entire perspective of the research carried out.
