Resumo
The objective of this work was to investigate the presence of physical-natural themes in the geography curriculum of the National Common Curricular Base (BNCC). To this end, a careful documentary analysis of terms related to the physical-natural components present in the BNCC's objectives, competencies and skills was carried out. The same was carried out in the content descriptors of the National Curricular Parameters in order to compare the frequency of terms. Furthermore, a bibliographical review was presented on the evolution of geographic thought that rescued the development of physical geography that contributed to the understanding of the current scenario. It is concluded, with the analyzes and studies, that not only has there been a significant reduction in the subjects in question in the curriculum (in some cases, extinction), but a good part of the subjects related to physical-natural themes are repeatedly included in the environmental bias, in which the objective of teaching is focused on understanding the consequences of the use of nature by man to the detriment of understanding the functioning of nature.

O objetivo desse trabalho foi o de investigar a presença das temáticas físico-naturais no currículo de geografia da Base Nacional Comum Curricular (BNCC). Para isso foi realizada uma criteriosa análise documental dos termos relacionados aos componentes físicos-naturais presentes nos objetivos, competências e habilidades da BNCC. O mesmo foi realizado nos descritores de conteúdo dos Parâmetros Nacionais Curriculares afim de comparar a frequência dos termos. Ademais apresentou-se revisão bibliográfica acerca da evolução do pensamento geográfico que resgatasse o desenvolvimento da geografia física que contribuísse para a compreensão do cenário atual. Conclui-se, com as análises e estudos, que não só́ houve uma significativa diminuição dos assuntos em questão no currículo (em alguns casos, a extinção), como boa parte dos assuntos relacionados aos temas físico-naturais estão reiteradamente inseridos no viés ambiental, em que o objetivo do ensino está focado em compreender as consequências do uso da natureza pelo homem em detrimento da compreensão do funcionamento da natureza.
