Capacidades governativas da Gestão Pública Municipal em Itaituba - Pará

Abstract

The municipalities of the Amazon region are subject to several factors that hinder their development, which is why it is necessary to collect information that allows us to assess how this development has occurred and thus assess the quality of life of the population that lives in this region. The analysis carried out in this research seeks to present data that indicate these levels through municipal management, strengthening good governance with the implementation of public policies that socioeconomically develop the municipality of Itaituba, located in the western region of the state of Pará. In the preparation of this analysis, the qualitative and quantitative method was used in the data collection with information obtained through IBGE – Cities. It was concluded in the collection of information that the municipality of Itaituba-PA presents weaknesses in the implementation of public policies related to housing indicators, basic sanitation, risk and disaster management, infrastructure, among others described in the research.
