The purpose of this study was to understand the importance of the
National Curricular Parameters for the teaching of physics in basic education.
The research was carried out in five schools of the state education network as a
sample and representation in all. It was verified that NCPs are actually part of the
study and interactions of the teaching and learning process, where they are
defined and applied in the pedagogical week - planning for the current school
year. In addition to the PCN's, the PCN's +, the Student's Guides and the High
School Teacher's Guide are used by area of knowledge, emphasizing the skills
and abilities of the physics discipline, taking the contents parallel to external
evaluations such as ENEM, SISPAE, Vestibulares, Prova Brasil and contests. It
is concluded that NCPs have their significant contributions to physics classes,
since it directs the objectives by reading the teacher to develop their most creative
classes, where students come to understand and make their considerations of
what really is the teaching of physics.
